  • DON'T BE LATE = know the exact time, place, name, and directions to the company.

  • Know the interviewer's name and how to pronounce it.

  • Research the company to show your interest and knowledge.

  • Prepare questions for the interviewer.

  • Practice being interviewed beforehand.

  • Dress professionally and bring note taking materials.

  • Greet interviewer formally using their last name until they allow first names.

  • Be confident ... give a firm handshake.

  • Wait to sit ... be attentive.

  • Communicate with enthusiasm and maintain a pleasant demeanor.

  • Avoid trash talking, especially about a past employer...always be positive!

  • Thank them for their time with a handshake and ask relevant time-frame questions.
